KAPISA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – A UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter lands carrying U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Charles Lyon, deputy commander-Air, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Force-Afghanistan, at Forward Operating Base Morales-Frazier for a visit with Kapisa Provincial Reconstruction Team Jan. 6. During his stay, Lyon received a firsthand assessment of current PRT operations and met with Joint Expeditionary Tasking Airmen assigned to the PRT.

The Kapisa PRT assists the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in providing a secure, stable environment for reconstruction efforts by increasing government officials’ capabilities and capacities.
