BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (March 5, 2009) – At approximately 8 p.m. local time, at least four indirect fire rounds hit in the vicinity of Bagram Air Field.
Three rounds hit outside the perimeter and a fourth round impacted the Bagram Theater Internment Facility. All personnel and detainees in the facility are safely accounted for.
There are no reported injuries but it is unknown if any civilians living near the air field were harmed as a result of this attack.
