Ongoing operation in Khost yields more munitions

KHOST PROVINCE, Afghanistan – The Afghan Border Police and the U.S. Army’s 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division teamed up in an operation and seized munitions from insurgents, Jan. 10. Items found during the operation included: four 82 mm mortar rounds, one 75 mm recoilless rifle round, four 76 mm recoilless rifle rounds, 31 RPG rounds, 12 chest racks, several DSKA rounds, RPG boosters and Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army uniforms.
