Afghan school teachers working to provide safe environment for learning

KONAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – A school teacher in the isolated mountain village of Muslimba, in Manogai district, greets a Coalition forces servicemember, April 6. Due to security concerns in the area, two local teachers took it upon themselves to meet with Coalition forces to help increase security and development for Afghan children attending school. The teachers have also voiced their concerns with the government and is seeking coordination and assistance from them as well. (courtesy photo)
