Parwan PRT engineers assess school

PARWAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan – U.S. Army Capt. Sungmin Kim, an engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers assigned to the Parwan Provincial Reconstruction Team, from Willowbook, Ill., assesses the Qal Eh Khojah Girls School in Parwan province, June 10. The PRT’s engineers inspect construction sites to ensure contractors are following the statement of work. These assessments are done to ensure contractors follow safety specifications and construction requirements. The PRT inherited this project from a previous team deployed here.
