Previous Super Bowl Performers

The Super Bowl event has always been a massive one that has drawn a lot of audiences towards it. In the previous editions of the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and many more have been a part of it. Even earlier, Rihanna had the chance to feature in the Super Bowl halftime show but she turned down the offer as she was looking to support Colin Kaepernick.

The controversy regarding Colin Kaepernick was that the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback was in support of taking the knee during the national anthems before the NFL Games in order to support the black people who were facing brutality from the police at that time. The fight was mostly against the injustice and racism happening toward the black people living there.

And once Rihanna turned down the offer of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, it was the band Maroon 5 who headlined the show with their performances and took the center stage.

But now Rihanna will be having the center stage to get on the top of the show and will be looking to perform well. Apart from it, Rihanna has been a successful artist who has achieved a lot in her life. Moreover, she has been ranked 21st number in Forbes’ annual list of America’s top self-made women.

Besides all this, Rihanna has a net worth of $1.4 billion and hence her presence on the big stage will help the organizers of the Super Bowl halftime show attract even more audience. At the age of just 34, she has been ruling the music charts and will be looking to continue in the future too.
